Abstract:

Provided is a seat reclining device for a vehicle, in which a caulking operation can be stably performed without increasing the weight or cost. A holder (27) of a seat reclining device for a vehicle comprises a main body portion (27c) comprised of a covering wall (27a) which slidably covers an end face (12c) of an upper arm (12) opposite to a lower arm (11) at an outer periphery of the upper arm (12) and a peripheral wall (27b) which is formed continuously with the covering wall (27a) and which covers the outer peripheral surface (11c) of the lower arm (11); a securing portion (27d) which is provided at a front end of the peripheral wall (27b) and which is secured by caulking to an end face (11e) of the lower arm (11) opposite to the upper arm (12) at the outer periphery of the lower arm (11); and a plurality of load bearing portions (27e) which are bent from the main body portion (27c) to abut against an end face (11d) of the lower arm (11) on the upper arm (12) side at the outer periphery of the lower arm (11) and support a caulking load upon caulking.
