Abstract:

This seat unit for an aircraft has an intermediate section 15 disposed between a first seat 13 and a second seat 14. In a bed state, the intermediate section 15 is adjacent to a first backrest 13b and a second backrest 13b while the height of upper surface of the intermediate section 15 substantially coincides with the height of the first backrest 13b and the second backrest 13b. The intermediate section 15 has a vertically movable partition plate 15d. In a state in which the partition plate 15d is contained in the intermediate section 15, the upper end of the partition plate 15d is located at or below the height of the upper surface of the intermediate section 15, and when the partition plate 15d is raised, the upper end of the partition plate 15d can move to a position above the eye level of a user seated on a first seat 13a or a second seat 13b which is at least in a seat state.
