Abstract:

Provided is a seat with which the detection precision of sensors provided in the seat for detecting the body potential of a seated person can be improved without reducing the seating comfort of the seat. This seat (S) comprises a trim cover (2), which has a contact surface (2a) in contact with the seated person, and sensors (5), which are disposed on the side opposite the contact surface (2a) and are for detecting the body potential of the seated person. The sensors (5) are capacitive coupling sensors that detect the body potential through the trim cover (2). At areas facing the sensors (5), the seat (S) is provided with a dielectric for increasing the dielectric constant of said areas.
