Abstract:
Provided is a seat (1) that has a seat member (2, 3) that contains cushion material, a fastening member that allows an exchangeable cover (8) mounted to a prescribed site on the seat member (2, 3) to be attached and removed, and a heater (9) that is provided in the seat member (2, 3), wherein the seat comprises a member to be detected (80) that is disposed in a prescribed site on the exchangeable cover (8), and a detecting member (70) that detects the member to be detected (80) when the exchangeable cover (8) is mounted on the seat member (2, 3). The heater (9) is controlled by a controlling device according to a state found from a detection signal output by the detecting member (70).
