Abstract:
Provided is a seatbelt device in which, when a vehicle occupant presses on an inflated and expanded airbag, the airbag is prevented from bending around an end of webbing. A seatbelt device (10) is provided with: webbing (24) fastened around the body of a vehicle occupant sitting on a seat (12); and an airbag (34) mounted to the webbing. The airbag (34) is provided with: an inflation section (S) inflated by gas supplied to the inside; and a first island section (40) and a second island section (42), which are configured so that a dimensional change therein in the thickness direction of the webbing (24) when the gas is supplied to the inside is set to be less than a dimensional change in the inflation section (S) in the thickness direction of the webbing (24). While the inflation section (S) is inflated, the first island section (40) and the second island section (42) are located adjacent to an end of the webbing (24) in the width direction thereof and are arranged facing the chest of the vehicle occupant (P).
