Abstract:
The disclosed seatbelt retractor and seatbelt device provided therewith make it possible to more effectively achieve a matching state in an engagement relation between multiple inner teeth and the outer teeth corresponding to said inner teeth with a simple movement of the spool. During an emergency, outer teeth (12b) of the pawl (12) on the rightmost side of a spool (9) are engaged with the inner teeth (8c) of a frame (8), and the load of a seatbelt (4) makes the leftmost side of the spool (9) to come into contact with a spool guide (8h). By means of the load of a seatbelt (4), the leftmost side of the spool (9) moves further in the seatbelt load direction γ, and the spool guide (8h) causes one outer tooth (9c1) on the leftmost side of the spool (9) to come into contact with the one target inner tooth (8e1) of the of the frame (8), thus placing the outer teeth (9c) of the spool (9) and the inner teeth (8e) more efficiently into a matching state in the engagement relation. By this means, the outer teeth (9c) of the spool (9) engage more effectively with the inner teeth (8e) of the frame (8) by a simple movement of the spool (9).
