Abstract:
According to the present invention, disclosed are a seawater battery management device including a Coulomb counting-based performance degradation prediction function, and a seawater battery management method thereof, the device comprising: a battery charge control circuit which senses a charge current for charging a seawater battery; a battery discharge control circuit which senses a discharge current when the seawater battery is discharged; an uninterruptible power supply (UPS) charge control circuit which charges a UPS device; and a UPS discharge control circuit which controls the discharge of the UPS device, wherein the UPS discharge control circuit manages a state of charge (SOC) of the seawater battery on the basis of Coulomb counting.
