Abstract:
A charge status estimation device (10) is provided with a current and voltage acquisition unit (13) for acquiring the charge-discharge current of a secondary battery (2) and the voltage across the terminals of the secondary battery (2), a combined current value calculation unit (14) for calculating a combined current value for the charge-discharge current values acquired over a period of time (t), and an estimation time setting unit (15) that sets a period of time (t) for which the combined current value is within a prescribed threshold as an estimation time (T) for estimating the charge status. The device is additionally provided with an internal resistance estimation unit (16) for estimating the internal resistance (R) of the secondary battery (2) on the basis of the voltage across the terminals of the secondary battery (2) and the charge-discharge current of the secondary battery (2) during the estimation time (T) and the previous sampling time (T - n) and a charge status estimation unit (17) for estimating the open-circuit voltage (Voc) and charge status value (SOC) of the secondary battery (2) on the basis of the voltage (V(T)) across the terminals of the secondary battery (2) and the internal resistance (R) of the secondary battery during the estimation time (T).
