Abstract:

Provided is a technique allowing the cycle characteristics to be improved without decreasing the energy density by volume. The present technique provides an evaluation method for a secondary battery comprising performances of at least: a determination step of determining the degree of diffusion defect for the ions carrying out the electric conduction; an evaluation step of evaluating the state of the secondary battery on the basis of the determination results from the determination step; and a control step of controlling, on the basis of the evaluation results from the evaluation step, the state of current application and voltage application on the secondary battery during charging or during discharging of the secondary battery.
