Abstract:
By using a battery model capable of estimating the internal reaction of a secondary battery
(10) according to parameter values a battery model section (60) supplies the
parameter values acquired from a parameter generating section (62) to the battery
model to estimate the internal state of the secondary battery (10). The parameter
generating section (62) generates the parameter values including the material
property value of the secondary battery (10) according to information indicating
the usage state of the secondary battery (10). The battery model is updated by
updating the parameter values. This reduces the difference between the actual
internal state of the secondary battery and the internal state of the secondary
battery estimated by the battery model.
