Abstract:

Disclosed is a secondary battery, which has an reinforced strength and can simplify the manufacturing process thereof. For example, one embodiment provides a secondary battery which comprises: an electrode assembly including a first electrode plate and a second electrode plate, wherein one of the first electrode plate and the second electrode plate includes a plurality of first tabs formed to protrude in one direction; a first current collection tab coupled to the first tabs; a case housing the electrode assembly; and a cap assembly coupled to the upper part of the case, wherein the first current collection tab is coupled to one of the cap assembly and the bottom surface of the case.
