Abstract:
The present invention relates to a secondary battery having improved sealing characteristic, and a method for manufacturing the same. In addition, the present invention comprises: a can member having an opening part; a top cap assembly for sealing the opening part; a gasket for insulating a space between the opening part and the top cap assembly; and a hot melt applied onto a surface of the gasket, wherein the hot melt has fluidity and viscosity at a predetermined temperature or higher and hardens at a temperature lower than the predetermined temperature.
