Abstract:
A secondary battery and a battery module comprising the secondary battery are disclosed. According to one aspect of the present invention, provided is a secondary battery comprising: an electrode assembly; a sheet-type exterior material for accommodating the electrode assembly; and a plurality of temperature sensing units which are provided to be adjacent to the exterior material, and which sense the temperature of one region of the exterior material, wherein one or more of the temperature sensing units comprise a PTC element and an NTC element.
