Abstract:
The present invention relates to a secondary battery comprising: an electrode assembly having an electrode lead attached thereto; a case accommodating the electrode assembly; a sealing part formed to seal the electrode assembly in the case; and a lead film covering a part of the outer surface of the electrode lead and interposed between the electrode lead and the sealing part, wherein the lead film comprises: a first region configured to be primarily ruptured when swelling of the battery occurs; and a second region configured to be secondarily ruptured when swelling of the battery occurs.
