Abstract:
[Problem] To accurately detect the state of various types of secondary batteries even in small current regions. [Solution] This secondary battery state detection device is provided with: a current detection means (current sensor (12)) which detects the value of the current in a secondary battery (14); a calculation means (equivalent circuit component calculation module (114)) which calculates an equivalent circuit component constituting an equivalent circuit of the secondary battery; an estimation means (voltage drop value calculation module (116)) which estimates the voltage drop value due to the dark current value on the basis of the dark current value which is detected by the current detection means flowing in secondary battery after the vehicle has stopped, and on the basis of the equivalent circuit component calculated by the calculation means, the element value of said equivalent circuit component varying non-linearly with the dark current value; and a state detection means (open circuit voltage calculation module (118)) which detects the state of the secondary battery on the basis of the voltage drop value estimated by the estimation means.
