Abstract:
[Problem] To shorten the time required to examine the qualities of secondary batteries. [Solution] A secondary battery testing method comprises first to fourth steps. In the first step, a secondary battery, after being manufactured, is charged up to a first voltage. In the second step, the secondary battery, before being set aside, is discharged or charged in a constant current/constant voltage mode with a second voltage, which is lower than the first voltage, being a target voltage. In the third step, the open-circuit voltage of the secondary battery is measured before and after the secondary battery is set aside. In the fourth step, examining the quality of the secondary battery is performed on the basis of the difference between the open-circuit voltages of the secondary battery measured before and after the secondary battery is set aside.
