Abstract:
A secondary battery is disclosed. The present invention comprises: a jelly-roll type electrode assembly, which includes a first electrode plate, a second electrode plate, and a separator, and is wound in a first direction; a first electrode tab; a second electrode tab; and a case for accommodating the electrode assembly, wherein the first electrode plate and the second electrode plate face each other with respect to a winding axis, which is extended in one direction, at a winding start part of the electrode assembly, a first electrode active material is arranged on both sides of a first current collector, a second electrode active material is arranged on both sides of a second current collector, and the first electrode tab and the second electrode tab can be arranged at a winding completion part of the electrode assembly.
