Abstract:
A secondary battery according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: an electrode assembly formed by disposing, on the sides of a separator, a first electrode and a second electrode which have coated parts and uncoated part tabs; a case accommodating the electrode assembly; and a cap plate which is coupled to an opening of the case, thereby sealing the case, and in which a vent hole is integrally provided with a vent plate, wherein the vent plate is formed outside the thickness of the cap plate.
