Abstract:
Provided is a secondary battery, comprising an electrode assembly (31), a first terminal (11) and a second terminal (21), and a top cover sheet (41). The electrode assembly (31) comprises a first pole piece and a second pole piece. The first terminal (11) is electrically connected to the first pole piece, and the second terminal (21) is electrically connected to the second pole piece. The secondary battery further includes: a first resistance member (18), a second resistance member (24), a contact piece (12) attached to the first terminal (11), and a conductive piece (22) electrically connected to the second terminal (21). The top cover sheet (41) is always electrically connected to the first terminal (11) through the first resistance member (18), and the top cover sheet (41) is insulated from the second terminal (21) and the conductive piece (22). When the internal pressure of the secondary battery exceeds a reference pressure, the contact piece (12) is in contact with the conductive piece (22) to form an electrical connection path through the first pole piece, the first terminal (11), the contact piece (12), the conductive piece (22), the second terminal piece (21) and the second pole piece. The second resistance member (24) is serially connected in the path, the resistance of the first resistive member (18) being greater than that of the second resistance member (24). The scheme realizes the protection of the secondary battery in two aspects and improves the safety of the secondary battery.
