Abstract:
Provided is a secondary cell having a configuration and a structure capable of reliably preventing moisture penetration into the secondary cell. A secondary cell 10A according to the present disclosure is provided with at least one laminated structure which comprises a first electrode member 30, a solid electrolyte layer 50, and a second electrode member 40 and in which at least four side surfaces are covered with a protective layer 60. In the secondary cell 10A, extending portions 30', 40' extending from one end of the electrode members 30, 40 are exposed from the side surface of the protective layer 60. Electrodes 71, 72 connected to the extending portions 30', 40' are formed on the side surface of the protective layer 60. The protective layer 60 and some portions 71', 72' of the electrodes 71, 72 are covered with a packaging member 80. The remaining portions 71", 72" of the electrodes 71, 72 are exposed from the packaging member 80. Connecting portions 91, 92 which cover the electrodes 71, 72 and which are connected to the electrodes 71, 72 are provided on the outer surface of the packaging member 80.
