Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a technology for defining sections that can be utilized by hybrid vehicles of various kinds. [Solution] A scheduled traveling route of a vehicle driven by an internal combustion engine and/or a motor is acquired, the portion of the scheduled traveling route within a range of a predetermined distance from the current location is divided into multiple sections such that differences in congestion degree can be differentiated, and the portion of the scheduled traveling route outside the predetermined distance range is divided into multiple sections such that differences in traveling load can be differentiated.
