Abstract:
The present application provides a secure communication method for a controller area network (CAN) bus and a device, used to ensure security of CAN bus communication systems. In the present application, the method comprises: a first electronic unit generating, on the basis of a first security identifier, a CAN packet to be sent, an identifier field in the CAN packet being the first security identifier, and the first security identifier being determined according to a first identifier of the first electronic unit and an order-preserving one-way function; and the first electronic unit performing detection on a packet on the CAN bus, and determining whether to send the CAN packet according to a size relationship between a second security identifier in an identifier field of a detected packet and the first security identifier of the CAN packet. The invention enables security protection of identifiers of CAN packets, and preserves a priority decision function of identifiers of CAN packets, thereby ensuring secure communications of CAN bus communication system.
