Abstract:
A secure connection structure for a cylinder of an oil-free air compressor. The number of bolts (3) for securely mounting a cylinder (2) on a crankcase (1) is not more than two, wherein the cylinder (2) is secured on the crankcase (1) using transversely mounted bolts (3a), or the cylinder (2) is directly secured on the crankcase (1) using vertically mounted bolts (3b), or the cylinder (2) is indirectly secured on the crankcase (1) using vertically mounted bolts (3b) by means of a cylinder head (5) or a valve seat plate (6). Compared with a conventional structure that secures a cylinder using not less than four vertically mounted bolts, on one hand, the connection structure achieves the purpose of improving the mounting efficiency of a cylinder by greatly reducing the number of parts of the structure for securing the cylinder, and reducing mounting procedures and workloads, and on the other hand, the connection structure achieves the purpose of improving the mounting reliability of the cylinder by reducing error probability by means of reducing mounting links, or by avoiding the situation that mechanical loads are completely borne by the bolts by means of improving the mounting structure.
