Abstract:
A method and a system (1) for controlling a wireless sensor network (10) from a user interface coupled to the Internet (30) are provided. A user accesses an Internet-based portal (40) from the user interface and establishes a secure broadband Internet connection between a remote control module (20) coupled to the wireless sensor network (10) and the portal (40). The connection is established by manually triggering a connection between the remote control module (20) and the portal (40) from the remote control module (20).
