Title:
SECURE IDENTIFICATION COMPONENT AND PROCESS FOR PRODUCING SUCH A COMPONENT
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2014/187825
Kind Code:
A3
Abstract:
According to a first aspect, the invention relates to a secure multilayer identification component (10) comprising a transparent zone (5) and, level with the transparent zone: a personalisable layer (22) intended to receive identification information (6); and a semi-reflective element (4) arranged on the back side (V) of the component relative to the personalisable layer, such that the identification information can be checked in reflection from the back side of the component and in transmission both from the back and front sides of the component. The semi-reflective element (4) can be formed of a semi-reflective layer that can be seen in direct reflection, selected from an index layer, a fine metallisation layer or a partial metallisation layer, or comprise a diffractive element that can be seen at a given diffraction angle different from the specular reflection angle, or a DID-type zero order diffractive optical component. The personalisable layer (22) intended to cover the identification information can be a layer that is sensitive to laser marking.
