Abstract:
A secure tunnel-based authentication method and device are disclosed. An authentication method of an authentication server, according to one embodiment, comprises the steps of: receiving, from a service server, an authentication request for providing a service to a first terminal; on the basis of the authentication request, generating a secure tunnel for communicating with an identified second terminal; transmitting OTP information to the second terminal via the secure tunnel; receiving response information for the OTP information from the second terminal via the secure tunnel; and determining whether to authenticate on the basis of the response information.
