Abstract:
To secure an assembly of individual tiles to a mounting surface (11), securing elements (13) are arranged in the region of adjacent edges or corner of several tiles (12) between the mounting surface (11) and said tiles (12). The securing elements (13) consist of very thin, flat base members (15) which are provided on one or both faces with securing means (14) in the form of spikes, pins, nails, tacks or the like. The securing elements (14) penetrate the tiles (12) and possibly the mounting surface (11).
