Abstract:
A security box (10) for holding items of recorded media includes a base (12) and a lid (14) hinged together between open and closed positions. At the end of the base (12) opposite the hinged connection (16) with the lid (14), a lock slide (18) is positioned and movable between locked and unlocked positions. The lid includes (14) a tooth (50) that passes through an opening (52) in the base (12) as the lid (14) is pivoted between the open and closed positions. The lock slide (18) includes a tooth (64) that moves between the tooth (50) of the lid (14) and the opening (52) of the base (12) when the lock slide (18) is in the locked position
