Abstract:
This security camera device, installed inside a car of an elevator and imaging the inside of the car, is provided with: an imaging unit (1001); a power supply unit (1003) that receives power (arrows A and B) and supplies the power to the host device (arrow C); a power storage unit (1004) that stores power; a power monitoring unit (1005) that monitors the state of the power supply unit (1003); a power supply control unit (1006) that, in accordance with the status of the power monitoring, switches the supply (arrow C) of power from the power supply unit to the host device to the supply (arrow E) from the power storage unit; and a transmitting unit (1011) that, when the power supply is switched to the supply from the power storage unit, transmits imaging information to a predetermined server over a network. Therefore, the status inside the car can be understood with images and loss of the imaging information can be prevented, whereby stable operation of the security camera functions can be assured.
