Abstract:
The present invention relates to a security system for smart windows, the security system which enables real-time detection of a sash unit being forced open by means of unauthorized external force or of an outsider damaging a windowpane or a sash unit and trespassing and warns a user via an equipment such as a smartphone carried by the user such that the user can quickly handle the situation. The security system for smart windows has one or more pairs of sash units (20) provided in a window frame (10) so as to slide open or closed and is provided on windows. The security system comprises: a notification unit (400) which is installed on a window and has a detection sensor (410) for detecting opening or closing of the sash units (20) real-time; and a control unit (500) for, if a signal detected by means of the detection sensor (410) is determined to be trespassing of an unauthorized outsider, generating an alarm for a preset user equipment (510) via wireless communication.
