Abstract:
Disclosed is a see-through display provided with: a light source which emits light: a projection optical system which spatially modulates the intensity of the light and generates imaging light for displaying an image; and a hologram which deflects the imaging light that is emitted from the projection optical system. The hologram includes: a transparent layer which permits passage of the imaging light, and which includes a first face onto which the imaging light is directed, and a second face on the side opposite to the first face; a grating face which has a relief structure that diffracts the imaging light between the first face and the second face; and a notch filter which covers at least part of the grating face and reflects incident light of a specific wavelength component that is directed onto the grating face. The transparent layer has a uniform refractive index from the first face to the second face.
