Abstract:
A selection device (1) comprises: an information acquisition unit (40) that acquires machine specifications information indicating the specifications of a machine, operation pattern information, and mechanism component specifications information indicating the specifications of a mechanism component; a capacity calculation unit (21) that calculates, on the basis of the machine specifications information, the operation pattern information, and the mechanism component specifications information, a required motor capacity for operating the machine; a motor selection unit (31) that selects a motor on the basis of the capacity and information retained in a motor database (11); an amplifier selection unit (32) that selects an amplifier on the basis of information of the selected motor and information retained in an amplifier database (12); a mechanism component selection unit (33) that selects a mechanism component on the basis of the mechanism component specifications information, the information regarding the motor selected by the motor selection unit, and information retained in a mechanism component database (13); and a display unit (50) that displays a selection result of the motor selection unit, a selection result of the amplifier selection unit, and a selection result of the mechanism component selection unit.
