Abstract:

Disclosed in the present application are selection of a positioning method, and a control method and an apparatus for same, which are used for realizing the selection of the positioning method by UE so that seamless positioning change can be realized. The present invention provides a control method of the selection of the positioning method, comprising: a positioning server determining, according to a positioning service request, auxiliary data for indicating user equipment UE to select a positioning method; and the positioning server sending the auxiliary data to the UE.
