Abstract:
A self-aligning roller bearing that is to support a main shaft of a wind power generation device. The self-aligning roller bearing comprises an inner ring (2), an outer ring (3), two rows of rollers (4, 5), and cages (10L, 10R). The rollers (4, 5) have a multilayered DLC coating film (9) at the outer circumferential surfaces thereof. The film thickness of the DLC coating film (9) is at least 2.0 μm. The surface roughness of the outer circumferential surface of a base material of the rollers (4, 5) satisfies Ra≤0.3 and RΔq≤0.05. The film hardness of the layers of the multilayered DLC coating film (9) increases from one layer to the next from inside to outside.
