Abstract:
A self-balancing electric vehicle (100) comprises a vehicle body (110) and wheels (120) fixed to the vehicle body (110). The self-balancing electric vehicle (100) further comprises a retractable device (200), with supporting wheels (220), fixed to the end of the vehicle body (110). When the retractable device (200) is fixed to the vehicle body (110), the retractable device (200) is positioned outside the vehicle body (110). The retractable device (200) comprises at least four transverse rods (210) which are hinged with one another and relatively rotatable, and two of the at least four transverse rods (210) are hinged to the vehicle body (110). The supporting wheels (220) are mounted to the at least four transverse rods (210), and when the self-balancing electric vehicle (100) moves, the supporting wheels are caused to rotate.
