Abstract:
The present invention relates to the technical field of air conditioners, and aims to solve a problem in the prior art in which an air conditioner performs determination based on a single condition, namely a current value of a fan in an indoor unit, and as a result is likely to frequently perform self-cleaning operations due to erroneous determination. Provided is a self-cleaning control method for an air conditioner comprising an indoor unit, comprising: when the air conditioner is performing a cooling operation, acquiring a current value of a fan in the indoor unit, a temperature of a coil in the indoor unit and a dew point temperature of air; and determining, according to the current value of the fan in the indoor unit, the temperature of the coil in the indoor unit, and the dew point temperature of air, whether to cause the indoor unit to perform a self-cleaning operation. The present invention enables an air conditioner to perform self-cleaning operations under reasonable conditions both when there is condensation and when there is not condensation, and can prevent the air conditioner from incorrectly determining that condensation in an indoor unit is dust accumulation and self-cleaning frequently and wasting energy.
