Abstract:
A self-cleaning device for a belt conveyor and a cleaning method thereof, comprising a material collecting part (2) and at least one group of clearing parts (1). Each group of clearing parts (1) comprises a first material clearing part (101), and a second material clearing part (102) disposed in parallel at one side of the first material clearing part (101). The cooperation between the first material clearing part (101) and the second material clearing part (102) can improve the efficiency of clearing dust and attached materials on the surface of a conveyor belt, reduce dust and material residues still remaining after cleaning, and protect normal work of the conveyor belt and related parts; the material collecting part (2) can collect the cleared and dropped materials, so that the influence of the materials on the working environment and the health of workers can be reduced, and the collected materials can be recycled, thereby reducing the waste of materials; and the dust can be adsorbed, settled and collected by means of a dust adsorbing and settling part (6), so that the influence of the dust on the working environment and the health of the workers is reduced, thereby reducing potential safety hazards.
