A self-cleaning exhaust fan for a textile mill, comprising a machine shell (1), exhaust fan blades (2), a driving component (3), a dustproof member (4), an extrusion cleaning component (5) and a cotton fiber filtering component (6). The cotton fiber filtering component (6) can filter air before same enters the exhaust fan, thereby removing cotton fiber in the air, preventing the cotton fiber from being attached to the dustproof member (4), and further improving the air outlet efficiency of the exhaust fan; after the exhaust fan works for a long time, the dustproof member (4) is extruded by controlling the extrusion cleaning component (5), and water is introduced into the dustproof member (4) by means of a water storage cavity (15) provided above the dustproof member (4), such that crisscross and fluffy filament screens are continuously extruded and beaten in a flushing process, and the dustproof member (4) made of the filament screens can be rapidly and effectively washed clean, thereby recovering the exhaust effect of the exhaust fan rapidly; and manual cleaning is not needed in the process, thereby saving manpower, and facilitating large-scale use and management of a textile mill.
