Abstract:

A transfer device for transferring a self-expanding stent to a target location along the inside of a microcatheter comprises: an outer tube communicating with the microcatheter; a shaft section comprising a distal marker and a proximal marker passing through the microcatheter while moving forward and backward at the outer tube so as to specify the location of the stent at the target location; and an elastic coating formed on the outer surface of the shaft section between the distal marker and the proximal marker.
