Abstract:
An artificial nasolacrimal duct capable of being fixed in place by self-expansion. The artificial nasolacrimal duct has a hollow tubular structure with an inner diameter of 0.5-1.5 mm and an outer diameter of 0.6-4.0 mm. The artificial nasolacrimal duct is made of a water-swellable material. The artificial nasolacrimal duct has a simple structure, does not require a structure whose end size is larger than the physiological size of the lacrimal passage to achieve the purpose of fixation, has good fixation effects, and does not easily fall off after expansion by absorbing water.
