Abstract:

A self-fusing unit (100) for a protection device. The self-fusing unit is a conductive sheath core structure having a resistivity of 1.5-40 μΩ∙cm, wherein the sheath core structure comprises an inner core (101) and an outer sheath (102), the material of the outer sheath being in contact with the surface of the material of the inner core and fully covering the material of the inner core, and the material of the outer sheath having a melting point and a conductivity higher than that of the periphery of the material of the inner core.
