Abstract:
The present invention relates to a self-locking drill chuck. The drill chuck comprises
a chuck body, a plurality of jaws, a nut connected to the jaws by thread, a front
sleeve axially limited and a rear sleeve, which cannot move with respect to the
chuck body in an axial direction and a circumferential direction. The drill chuck
is provided with an element having a spring leaf, which is connected to the nut
and can rotate together with the nut synchronously. The spring leaf has a locking end,
the front end of the rear sleeve is provided with a circle of saw-tooth, which is
engaged with the locking end of the spring leaf in a single direction. The internal wall
of the front sleeve has such a construction that connects to the spring leaf and
controls a locking engagement of the spring leaf and the saw-tooth. In the present
invention, the self-locking engagement of the drill chuck is realized by the
locking engagement of the nut and the rear sleeve, which cannot move with respect
to the chuck body in an axial direction and a circumferential direction. The present
invention has a simpler structure, and more convenient during being assembled.
