Detailed Description of the Invention

Demounted perspective view of a flush nut (100) of the invention is shown in Figure 1 and demounted cross-sectional perspective view of the flush nut (100) of the invention is shown in Figure 2.

The invention enables a self locking embedded connection which is proofed against high pulling forces in wooden and plastic materials in which a bolt (200) teeth cannot open or in materials in which the bolt (200) teeth opens, however; endurance cannot be achieved.

Figure 5 depicts a perspective view of the flush nut (100) of the invention. The present invention relates to the self locking flush nut (100) which is embedded into the medium it is being used in and enables the mounting of the parts (D) to each other due to the bolt (200) which is attached in it and also enables the continuity of the connection even under high pulling forces wherein it includes a main body (101 ), a locking element (109) which is located inside the main body (101 ) in order to enable the structure be locked mechanically, a settling volume which enables a locating medium to the lock element by opening into the main body, a compression volume (108) which enables a connection as a result of compression in the end part of the flush nut (100) by being opened inside the main body (101 ) with a diameter which is smaller than the diameter of the locking element, a connection pawl which is located on the outer surface of the compression volume (108) and which enables the connection as a result of compression and fixing threads (103) which prevent the axial rotation of the flush nut (100) when located inside the part. There is a main body (101 ) in the present invention. The locking element (109) is located inside the main body (101 ) and enables the structure being locked mechanically. The said locking element is in sphere form. There is a locking element space (109.1 ) inside the said locking element (109). There is a settling volume (107) which provides a location medium to the locking element by being opened into the main body (101 ). The diameter of the said settling volume (107) is at least equal to the diameter of the locking element (109). There is a compression volume (108) in the main body (101 ) which is opened with a diameter smaller than the diameter of the locking element (109) and enables a connection as a result of compression in the end of flush nut (100). The compression volume (108) has a diameter which is smaller than the diameter of the said settling volume (107) and of the locking element (109). A connection pawl (104) is located on the outer surface of the compression volume (108) and which enables the connection as a result of compression. There are also fixing threads (103) which prevent the axial rotation of the flush nut (100) when located inside the part (D). There is a flexibility leg (105) which enables the force to be applied onto the surface of the hole onto which it is mounted, in the instant that the locking element (109) which is located inside the Settling volume (107) is pushed to the compression volume (108) by the bolt (200). There is a Flexibility slit (106) which enables an outward opening in the instant that the locking element (109) which is located inside the main body (101 ) is pushed to the compression volume (108) by the bolt (200). There is a seating surface (102) which enables the flush nut (100), which is located in the part (D), be completely seated onto the part (D).

The of the flush nut of the invention is as follows;

The flush nut (100) is located into the mounting hole which is opened on the part (D). Fixing threads (103) prevent axial rotation after the mounting. The locking element (109) in sphere form is located in the settling volume (107) which is opened inside the main body (101 ) of the flush nut (100). Figure 3 depicts a cross-sectional perspective view of the flush nut (100) of the invention to be mounted onto the part (D). While bolt (200) is mounted to the flush nut (100) which is located into the part (D), due to the force that is applied to the bolt (200) in the screwing direction (A), the bolt (200) moves forward in the moving direction (B) inside the flush nut (100). Since the moment the end of bolt (200) touches the locking element (109), it pushes the locking element (109) from the settling volume in the moving direction (B). the locking element (109) moves forward to the compression volume (108) which has a diameter that is smaller than the diameter of the settling volume (107) and of the locking element (109). The locking element (109) which moves towards the compression volume, applied force to the flexibility leg (105) in the tightening direction (C). The flexibility legs (105) open outwards due to the applied force and the flexibility slits (106) and apply force to the surface of the hole, onto which they are mounted. The connection pawl (104) on the flexibility legs (105) are inserted to the surface of the hole, onto which it is mounted, and a connection is formed. Therefore; the connection is maintained without being dislodged due to the high pulling force. Figure 4 depicts a cross-sectional perspective view of the flush nut (100) of the invention which is mounted onto the part (D).
