Abstract:
A self- locking type manually tightened drill chuck includes drill body, clamping jaws,
nut, up out sleeve, down out sleeve, three inclined holes are provided on said
body, said jaws are in said holes and can slide freely, said nut and jaws are jointed
together by thread, characteristic by : a plurality of protrusions for transmission
are provided below nut, a inner liner is provided on the inner side wall of down
out sleeve, said liner is correspond to said protrusion, a position protrusion,
locking protrusion and self-locking inclined surface are on said liner, a spring
is provided between said liner and said transmission protrusion, said spring
clamps the transmission protrusion, said spring is positioned axially by position
protrusion and nut, the ends of spring provides locking end and self-locking end
to fit the locking protrusion and self-locking surface respectively, a ratchet is
provided on the out surface of drill body, said ratchet fits self-locking end; a
protect sleeve is provided between the bottom end of said body and down out sleeve. The
invention has a simple, compact construct and is convenience and effective locking
in use.
