Disclosed in the present invention are a self-positioning assembly system and method for rapid assembly of an aircraft: an aircraft tooling positioning apparatus specifically comprises a mounting platform, a framework assembly, a hole positioner assembly, a strut positioner assembly, and a pallet assembly; the advantages thereof are: the framework assembly is assembled using a dispersed column group method, saving assembly space to the greatest extent; the concept of the self-positioning assembly of the aircraft structure is adopted, decreasing the tooling structure, and enabling workers to flexibly move in and out of assembly space sites to implement workpiece positioning and assembly operations; a new and more efficient hole positioner, strut positioner, and positioning assembly for a rotating top support are proposed, and the self-positioning assembly and modular assembly of aircraft can be implemented by means of rough adjustment of the columns and fine adjustment of the various positioner assemblies, increasing the efficiency of aircraft assembly; and the present invention can be applied to the assembly of different models, increasing the rate of reuse of the tooling.
