Abstract:
The present invention relates to a blocking device (20) for blocking a vehicle, a dock and/or distribution center provided therewith and method there for. The blocking device (20) comprises a moveable frame with displacement elements, a drive configured for moving the blocking device with frame and displacement elements, a blocking element (34) and a blocking element extension mechanism configured to extend the blocking element between a retracted position in an open mode and an extended blocking position in a blocking mode, and a controller (54) configured for steering the drive for moving the blocking device (20) and controlling the blocking element extension mechanism.
