A self-propelled cleaner (1) that is a self-propelled electronic device is provided with: a temperature measurement unit (63) that measures the temperature of the surrounding area during self-propelled operation; a temperature determination unit (521) that determines whether the measured temperature is above a set value; and an abnormal temperature-reporting unit (522) that reports abnormal temperature information indicating that the measured temperature is above the set value to the outside.
