Abstract:
This self-propelled work robot (100) comprises: an operation unit (102) that is configured to be capable of operation in a plurality of operation modes; a robot body (101) that is provided to the operation unit; a travel unit (105) that causes the robot body to travel; a target detection unit (110) that is configured to be capable of detecting a prescribed target; and an operation mode switching unit (124) that switches the operation mode of the operation unit in accordance with the detected state of the target as detected by the target detection unit.
