Abstract:
A self-reconfigurable return mixer, comprising: a self-reconfigurable trans-conductance stage, an input radio-frequency voltage signal being converted into a radio-frequency current by means of the self-reconfigurable trans-conductance stage, the radio-frequency current being converted into an intermediate frequency signal by means of down-conversion and low-pass filtering, and the intermediate frequency signal being fed back to the self-reconfigurable trans-conductance stage; the self-reconfigurable trans-conductance stage exhibiting an open-loop structure to the input radio-frequency voltage signal, and the self-reconfigurable trans-conductance stage exhibiting the topology of a negative feedback amplifier to the fed back intermediate frequency signal. The self-reconfigurable trans-conductance stage circuit achieves a high-linearity intermediate frequency gain while providing a high bandwidth to the radio-frequency signal, effectively alleviating the contradiction between the conversion gain and the intermediate frequency linearity in a traditional return structure.
