A self-seal tire, comprising a puncture seal layer installed through the entire inner wall surface of a pneumatic tire ranging from one shoulder part to the other shoulder part thereof, wherein the puncture seal layer is formed by installing an adhesive layer formed of an adhesive material adhered to the inner wall surface of the tire on the outer peripheral surface of an annular sponge layer soaked with the adhesive material so as to be exposed to the outer peripheral surface side of the tire, and the relation between the outer peripheral length (Ls) of the sponge layer before installation of the puncture seal layer thereon and the tire outer peripheral length (Lt) of the pneumatic tire at a centerline is set to 1.1 Lt $m(F) Ls $m(F) 1.3 Lt.
